Oddstacker Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of Oddstacker, a sports gaming platform operated by Oddstackr Limited (RC No. 1597778) ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Oddstacker platform ("Platform"), you ("User," "Player," or "you") agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations and any additional rules, policies, or procedures implemented by Oddstacker. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

Oddstacker reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Stack: A combination of a sports event, prediction, and user-assigned points
  • Fixed Choice Game: Games with platform-predetermined events/predictions
  • Double Choice Game: Games where players select their own events/predictions
  • Multiplier: The risk factor applied to predictions in Double Choice Games
  • Win Margin: The range of winning positions and their corresponding payouts
  • Tie Breaker: Pre-selected stacks used to resolve score ties
  • Prize Pool: The total amount of money available to be won, calculated as the sum of all player stakes minus platform commission

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

3.1 Legal Compliance

  • Users must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age for gambling/betting in their jurisdiction).
  • Users are solely responsible for ensuring that participation in Oddstacker games complies with local laws.
  • Oddstacker may restrict access in jurisdictions where its services are prohibited.

3.2 Account Requirements

  • Users must provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
  • Only one account per individual is permitted. Multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining account security and must not share credentials.

3.3 Know Your Customer (KYC) & Anti-Fraud Measures

  • Oddstacker reserves the right to request identity verification, payment source verification, or other checks to prevent fraud, money laundering, or underage gambling.
  • Failure to comply with verification requests may result in withheld winnings or account suspension.

4. Game Mechanics & Rules

4.1 Game Types

  • Mega Games: Large prize pool competitions
  • Doubles Games: Top half of players win double their stake
  • Head-to-Head (H2H): 1v1 contests with winner-takes-all prize

4.2 Stacking Rules

  • Players must distribute all designated points (n) across predictions
  • Minimum points per stack: 1.21
  • Maximum points per stack: 9.99
  • No duplicate point values allowed across stacks
  • Players must designate tie breaker stacks as specified

4.3 Scoring System

  • Fixed Choice Games: Score = Σ(Points assigned to correct predictions)
  • Double Choice Games: Score = Σ(Points × Multiplier) for correct predictions

4.4 Payout Structure

If game doesn't fill completely:

  • Payouts adjusted proportionally based on actual prize pool
  • Example: If original prize was N1,000,000 with N200,000 for 1st position:
    Unfilled pool of N800,000 → 1st position becomes N160,000 (20%)

4.5 Tie Resolution

  • Compare total tie breaker stack scores
  • If still tied, compare individual tie breaker stacks (highest first)
  • If unresolved, tied players:
    • Share combined prize money equally
    • Occupy sequential positions (e.g., 5-way tie for 10th → positions 10 - 14 combined)

4.6 Game Administration

  • Games proceed if minimum player threshold met
  • Games may be canceled for:
    • Failure to meet minimum players
    • Technical failures
    • Suspected fraud
  • All results are final after official verification

5. Financial Terms

5.1 Prize Pool Composition

  • Prize pool = (Total player stakes) - (Platform commission)
  • Commission rates displayed before game entry

5.2 Deposits & Withdrawals

  • All stakes must be paid before game entry
  • Winnings are credited to user accounts and may be withdrawn per Platform policies
  • Oddstacker may impose withdrawal limits or fees

5.3 Taxes & Legal Compliance

  • Players are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on winnings
  • Oddstacker may withhold taxes where required by law

5.4 Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

  • Suspicious transactions will be investigated
  • Oddstacker may report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities

6. Player Responsibilities

6.1 Stack Validation

  • Players must ensure:
    • All points are allocated
    • No point value duplicates exist
    • Stack selections comply with game rules

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

  • Users must not:
    • Engage in cheating, collusion, or exploitation of system vulnerabilities
    • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate games
    • Harass other players or engage in abusive behavior
    • Share accounts or engage in identity fraud

6.3 Consequences of Violations

  • Oddstacker may, at its discretion:
    • Issue warnings
    • Suspend or terminate accounts
    • Forfeit winnings
    • Report illegal activity to law enforcement

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

All content, trademarks, and software on Oddstacker are owned by or licensed to the Platform. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without explicit permission.

7.2 User-Generated Content

By submitting predictions, comments, or other content, users grant Oddstacker a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for Platform operations.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

8.1 No Guarantee of Winnings

Oddstacker does not guarantee that any user will win prizes. Participation is at the user's own risk.

8.2 Technical & Operational Risks

Oddstacker is not liable for:

  • Internet outages, delays, or technical malfunctions
  • Errors in game results due to software bugs
  • Unauthorized account access due to user negligence

8.3 Maximum Liability

Oddstacker's total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

9.1 Dispute Handling

Users must submit disputes within 7 days of the contested event. Oddstacker's decision on disputes is final and binding.

9.2 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.

10. Responsible Gaming

Oddstacker encourages responsible gaming. Users may:

  • Contact us to set deposit limits
  • Self-exclude by contacting us
  • Seek help from organizations like Gamblers Anonymous if needed

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Force Majeure

Oddstacker is not liable for failures due to events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, war).

11.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and Oddstacker, superseding prior agreements.

By using Oddstacker, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
